My wife and I purchased our first home this year. We were referred to Focused Realty Inspections by another individual who has had a lot of success with them. Nate was very professional, knowledgeable, and extremely thorough during the home inspection. 5 stars. I cannot begin to express my appreciation for the attention to detail down to every last square inch of the 148 year old home I’m in the process of purchasing. I have 10 years experience in home buying/resale. Never have I had a more focused inspection/s! Previously, I have used inspectors who schedule 4-6 hours to look at a home, depending on square footage, but finish in an hour and a half. Nate (the owner) spends every last minute paying attention to every detail, big or small - from locks, to the smallest corners in a crawl space. He climbs the roof, crawls into attic spaces, windows, cracks, small water marks, potential fire history, etc... down to every last light socket. Both inspections he has done for me, came back …75-100 pages long with pictures included! So you’re left with no questions. However, he responds immediately, if you do have any. You’re wasting your time and money to go anywhere else. I’ll be sending friends and family his way for as long as he’s in business.

We had the immense pleasure of working with Nate on 3 separate occasions and he far exceeded our expectations. We bought a home 4 years ago and used a different inspector, who didn’t provide us with a report and basically said "yeah this is a good home and no issues" when over the next few years we found a lot of issues. This time we used Nate on a property we were trying to buy. He went over it with a fine tooth comb it seems and found several serious concerns with the home that would have cost us a lot of money. His report was full of pictures and very thorough. We ended up not purchasing the home which was a great decision for us financially.
We were also selling our home and we needed a roof inspection for our buyers. My husband was calling a colleague to help, and last minute he cancelled. So, on short notice Nate was so kind to come and do an inspection on a weekend and really helped us.
Finally, he did our inspection on the home we are buying and should close on next month. Another very thorough report. Nate is very kind, he goes through every sq inch of a home and is so good at what he does. He’s seriously worth every penny and I wouldn’t buy a home without him. You cant put a price on peace of mind, and he could save you a lot of time and money in the long run. I highly recommend him to everyone!

I recommend Nate to anyone who needs a house inspection! He took the extra time to talk out each of his findings and explained recommendations that he had as well. The inspection final product was the best seen to date. The in depth description of each finding and the summary at the end made it easy to read!
